Aging in Virginia is the work of the 2005 College Photographer of the Year, Casey Templeton.
The project grew from Casey's curiosity and his passion for learning from his elders. His inspiration for the multimedia package came from the truly amazing "Aging in America" piece that Ed Kashi did with MSNBC.
Casey finished the project nearly 2 years ago for a multimedia class at James Madison University. He graduated in 2005 and recently completed an internship with National Geographic Magazine.
American-Journal is pleased to showcase his look into the lives of one of our greatest natural resourses, America's elderly.
