Sometimes two seemingly unrelated things cross paths and the result is something worth contemplating.
This was one of those moments.
On Good Friday, a Christian group made its way through town observing the stations of the cross in remembrance of Jesus’ final walk.
As the Christians joined in singing “Jesus Remember Me,” a group of prisoners was corralled through their path on a different sort of walk.
What brought these two groups together at this particular moment? What do they think of each other, and how is each affected by this encounter?
It was an ironic meeting on a dreary day.
