In colleges and universities across America, talented photojournalism students are creating compelling photographs and bringing fresh new perspectives to stories that make up everyday life. This forum not only provides them with an opportunity to present their work, but also it gives viewers a sneak peek into the future of visual storytelling.

We invite students to submit their best work to be considered for inclusion in the American Journal Student Photojournalist Showcase.

Stories chosen for publication will be presented in one of our monthly issues and then archived on the site. Students whose work is selected will recieve a free copy of Soundslides Plus, the audio slideshow application by Joe Weiss that is popular in newspaper photo departments across the country.
